Epitaph

Who is Chris:

I hate pretentious people who write self important things on Facebook despite the fact I am one of them.

Here is my self important bullshit that would be my epitaph.

I fought the good fight when it was right, not when it was easy or popular.
I fell in love; I did so with my whole heart and as imprudently as possible.
I was the first to join and the last to quit a lost cause.
I always tried to follow the beat of my own drum.
I breathed politics, ate satire and dreamed of making the world better.
I don’t know if it was good or bad, but people always remembered meeting me.
I hated most in this world three things: cliches, hypocrites and narcissists.
I loved to learn about the world and get reminded about how little I knew.
I was a hopeless romantic despite the world telling me to embrace my cynical nature.
I freely chose to be a disappointed romantic, than a correct cynic.
I would always rather be alone than be with bad company.
I defined smart as being able to ask the best questions, not have the best answers.
I always gambled big. I lost big and won big. Regardless it was always worth it.
I believed that all people have an inherent worth and dignity simply for being human.
I believed that all people by their very nature are comedic and farcical.
I define a day as good or bad by how many jokes I made and people  I made laugh.
I always believed that authority should be taken down a notch.
I never tried to be a brick in the bridges of other peoples lives.
I reminded myself that the sun rose before I was born and will rise after I’m dead.
I believed the only paradise human beings have is the one we make here ourselves.
I never took any thing too seriously.
I was loud, opinionated and sometimes crazy, but hanging with me was always a blast.
I put into life as much as I took out.
I respected the only currency that matters in life – Loyalty.
